(1)问题情境。问题情境是个体面临的刺激模式与其已有知识结构所形成的差异。
(2)已有的知识经验。任何问题解决都离不开一定的知识作为基础，知识经验的不足常常是不能有效解决问题的重要原因。必要的知识经验，完善的知识结构有利于问题顺利地解决。

(6)酝酿效应。当一个人长期致力于某一问题解决而又百思不得其解的时候，如果他对这个问题的思考暂时停下来去做别的事情，几小时、几天或几周之后，他可能会忽然想到解决的办法，这就是酝酿效应。
(7)原型启发。在问题解决过程中，原型启发具有很大作用。所谓启发，是指从其他事物上发现解决问题的途径和方法。对解决问题起了启发作用的事物叫原型。
(8)情绪和动机状态。情绪和动机状态影响问题解决的效果。就情绪和动机强度而言，在一定限度内，情绪和动机强度与问题解决的效率成正比，但动机太强或太弱，情绪过于高昂或过于低沉，都会降低问题解决的效率。一般而言，中等强度的动机和相对适中的情绪激动水平，有利于问题的解决。
